The LMS sends data to Eteka Analytics — never the other way around. The institution configures which class, activity, and user data is shared. No direct database reading, no exceptions.

Signed tokens — no exposed credentials

The integration uses digitally signed JWT (JSON Web Tokens) by the LMS, per the LTI 1.3 standard. There are no passwords, API keys, or administrative credentials traveling between systems.

Privacy by design — not an add-on

Compliance with data protection laws is an architectural requirement, not an additional layer. Includes data anonymization, consent management, and documented legal basis by default.
